Definitely feeling more positive today. The social worker emailed me with a few last minute details. Instead of emailing her, since I am the impatient one, I called and spoke with her. She is finally WRAPPING it up. The homestudy still has to be given a looksy by our adoption agency, CCAI, but with any luck will be approved before the week is up.
In addition, we joined the organization, "Families with children from China" and subscribed to "Adoptive Families". We decided to wait until we receive the homestudy to get all our documents certified in person by the Department of State. I am definitely not feeling to confident about sending any original documents in the mail during Christmas.
Off to bake cookies. Yes, there will be enough for everyone:)
