Well I am no longer looking for the mailman, just looking for the mail! I was told yesterday that our "I171H" approval was mailed out Tuesday afternoon. It is finally coming together. Our passports have been renewed and are also on their way home. We also picked the photographs for the dossier. With any luck all of our remaining documents will go to the Chinese Consulate next week and off to CCAI for review.
On the fun side, I joined a "100 Wishes Quilt" swap. The swap works this way. "100" strips of fabric are cut and then sent with a wish to 100 adoptive families. What is really nice is that you don't have to be adopting to participate. I know absolutely nothing about quilting but thought I would give it a try. I plan on putting together a "Quilting Party" after I get the final details on how it works and choose the fabric. I think its a great gift to give our child especially knowing the thought behind it. All are welcome to join me:)
