We received our documents back from the Chinese Consulate, only to find out that two (2) documents were missing the Department of State Seal and were rejected. Urgh..

Today I called USCIS after getting the phone number from an adoption chatboard buddy and found out....Are you ready?.....Are you sure?......

One step forward
We were told our case would be reviewed this afternoon and if approved, our approval called, the I171H, will be in tomorrow's mail. Yeah! What this means is that we are just steps away from our paperwork being translated and sent to China. Once we receive the I171H, we will have that document with the remaining rejected documents re-submitted to the Chinese Consulate.
Just a few more steps.......We are almost there!!!
