All-Star Parade

Yesterday we spent the day in the city watching the All-Star parade. We thought we would have a chance to see all the Statues on Parade but found getting a "good seat" more important! We did see three statues,I decided to stand next to the California Angels statue while Mike stood next to the NY Yankees statue. We did see the NY Mets statue but decided against taking a picture of that one! Yes, we are die hard Yankee fans. But yesterday was more about being a baseball fan. There were so many Hall of Famers there. We actually had a chance to interact with them as they passed us. Really cool! I think Mike got so caught up talking to the Hall of Famers and players that he kept taking photos of his feet and the RED carpet! What a beautiful day for a parade but boy was it hot! We were exhausted by the end of it. One negative: the booing of Boston Red Sox Manager and players. Now I admit that I would be very happy to see them lose every game until the end of the year BUT I still would not have booed them the way they were booed. It just wasn't right. They were our guests and as baseball fans we should have embraced them. Onto bigger issues: Which baseball cap do you like better? I love them both and bought them both :)
