Translated information & a ladybug surprise

This afternoon we received a surprise package from Cathy & Cecil. It was totally unexpected and neither one of us had any idea what it was. We kept asking each other, "Did you order something?" Laughing as we realized neither one of us had. We are working really hard not to use credit cards and right now I am STRUGGLING since all I want to do is SHOP SHOP SHOP!

Cathy & Cecil sent us the most adorable ladybug blanket off our registry. It is so soft and I know baby girl is going to love it. It was so thoughtful of them. They are currently waiting for TA to bring their little boy home and we hope that we may catch them in China.

Today we also received the translated information on Annie from our agency. I had no idea there was more and so it did take me by surprise.

We know that Annie's birthparents must have cared for our baby girl very much because of where she was found. We also have the name of the person who found her. Of course, I goggled both and struck out. I hope to find out more when we travel.

A few intereting things we learned:

Annie likes to giggle loudly, makes yi yi ya ya baby sounds, likes to imitate others, is sociable with those she knows, and eats SEVEN times a day. She is up at 7 am, naps at 11 am, goes to sleep at 6 pm, and is up once during the night. She sleeps THIRTEEN hours at night? I guess if you count the one time she gets up during the night it is possible she sleeps TWELVE hours.

Today I attempted to clear out Annie's room. I took out the stuff that is either too big or too old for her, emptied the bookcase except for a few baby board books, and put as many things as I could away. The problem is finding a proper place for everything. We are waiting for baby girl's dresser and still need to put together the crib so it is hard to visualize.

I realize I have a lot of quilts to make. I plan on working on at least two before I go.

Relative term: PLAN

If I don't finish them, I will be forced to pack it all away and donate what is extra to make room. I also have to put baby girl's 100 Good Wishes Scrapbook together. That MUST be done before we travel.

On the plus side it was a beautiful day even if I spent most of it inside.

Tomorrow we have a picnic to attend with my favorite Waiting Families and I'm looking forward to going.

Oh! and the BIG news! I slept for EIGHT hours, and boy did I sleep hard :)

For almost 2 years, Miss Magoo slept for 13 hours, yes! :)

How neat you are learning a little more about your precious girl!
