"Well I guess I could take up walking and walk to china" Yes. the wait is already driving a lot of us recently LID families crazy. The Marching Pandas (March DTC Yahoo Group) has even started a "Walking Tour of China". Families have walked, jogged, and ran 230 miles.
Guess who their cheerleader is?
Do you really need to know?
I am their cheerleader.
I really need to pick up the pace.
I saw this on another blog and thought it would be fun to share it with you (Ignore the commentary if you can)
You know the wait is getting long when:
1. You start decorating other people's nurseries because you've done
everything possible to yours. (Haven't started yet but getting the itch)
2. You start calling all the Chinese names in the phone book
asking them if they have any relatives that work at the CCAA. (Help me if I get this bad)
3. You have switched from dressing up your 20lb bag of rice bear to
dressing up your cat. (Rascal looks cute with a bib on!)
4. Your agency informs you that you aren't required to call twice a
day to make sure that they have your correct phone number on file. (But they can't keep me off the Internet:) )
5. The Fed-Ex truck is no longer allowed to drive down your street,
because someone keeps chasing the truck. (My mailman no longer smiles when delivering mail to our door, I think its all those quilt squares, secret pal gifts, and book swap)
6. People at the office start ducking back into their offices when
they see you walking down the hallway. Especially after you decked the last person that said "Have you heard anything yet?" (Hasn't happened yet but you never know)
7. You start wondering if it would have been faster to have dug a
hole to China instead. (I really questioned that one!)
8. You have practiced packing your luggage so many times that you
have to buy new luggage because the zippers have worn out. (Definitely not a good sign)
9. What started out as a cute hobby of putting out a ladybug house in
the garden, has turned into a wholesale business of selling ladybugs worldwide.(I can see this one happening!!!)
10. Your husband threatens to be passive aggressive by not changing
his socks until you get a referral (Never going to happen, Mike hates smelly feet, thank goodness!!)

You had me ROFL! Thanks for the laugh!
Those are sooooo good!!!
I think I may use them on my blog too if that's ok! I've been "complaining" a lot on there lately about the wait!
