Its' official

It's official, I am officially a published author for a short story in the upcoming Chicken Soup for the Adopted Soul due to be released in March. I had kept it under wraps until I knew for sure it was really going (only a few family members even know about it)to happen. I received a complimentary copy today and I just couldn't beleive it was REAL. I submitted the story during a very low point of this journey and frustrating wait. It was something positive and I needed to do something positive at the time. Needless to say I am still floored that my story would even be considered since I am still part of the "Waiting Family Crowd". Wow! Thanks to my Dad for being so supportive and not even knowing it. I submitted it shortly after a conversation I had with him about writing. My Grandpa would be so proud! More to come. Right now I have to pack for our big three-day trip to sunny Florida. Have a great weekend! I plan on it and can't wait to come back to referrals and baby pictures!
