Dr. Seuss Week

This week we celebrate Dr. Seuss. Today I read the book "My Many Colored Days". Just imagine asking three year olds to describe their emotions based on color. Even worse be the adult thinking about how each color makes you feel. I think in some ways this short rhyme filled story sums up the wait by expressing every wait related emotion I have ever felt. ME, the adult! Now the kids they just said whatever came to mind. How does the color blue make you feel?

Its my favorite color I love blue!

Tomorrow will be more even more fun. I get to read Green Eggs and Ham and the Cat in the Hat. These are the stories I had my mom read to me again and again and again. I wonder if the kids will ask me to stop reading them again and again and again or if they will politely get up and walk away leaving me with my stories?
