Today, I met with my very special friends from
FCC-LI. We have been together for most of our journey, meeting at the beginning of our wait. What started out as a conversation focused on the process and/or wait has bloomed into this wonderful friendship and lifetime bond. We have been thru quite a lot together and have always been there for each other. Today, we met for brunch. It was outstanding! But as good as the food was, it was the conversation that kept us there for over two hours! We never seem to run out of things to say, just the time to say them.

We are inching closer to China with me starting the ball rolling, then Sue, Pat and Lori. For myself, Sue, and Pat this will be our first trip to China and we have the added advantage of Lori's first hand knowledge from her trip to pick up her sweet girl as she waits with us for sweet child #2. We missed her sweet girl today but were glad to see her Mom & Dad had a chance to spend adult time with us, Big kids! We did discuss climbing the fence to get to the plane but had a change of heart when we read "EMERGENCY USE ONLY", maybe next time. You never know with this wait we may just learn how to FLY :)

PS: It took hours to work off all the food we ate. We were supposed to walk when we got home but were so full it just didn't happen. I am still full!
