Hello all,

Facebook is blocked so I can only attach one pic but I promise you t it was the best of the batch :) Annie is such a good baby and everyday we fall more and more in love with her. There is something about the way she smiles when she first wakes up, gazes at you,. drinks you in with those big brown eyes, giggles, laughs, and holds onto you that is so sweet that you just can't imagine not ever having her in your life.

We are slowly winding down with just a few more days left. Mike and I and one other family are the sole survivors of our group. It seems everyone has gotten sick, knock on wood we will continue to stay healthy (Annie too!).

Today our Visa application was approved so we now have official permission to bring Annie into the US. Tomorrow we will take the oath , get Annie's Visa and finish packing.

Part of me is sad to go as China has been such a wonderful experience and we are so grateful that we have been given such a gift in our daughter. We look forward to our own beds, food, and surroundings as it gets a little played out trying to figure out what to eat or not to eat. It is also excruciating hot here 96+ with 95 % humidity which has pretty much forced us to stay in our room for the last two days once it hits late morning.

A few tidbits about Annie

She loves to laugh
She smiles all the time and is only fussy when something is upseting her, she is frustrated, tired or hungry
She hates a poopey diaper
She loves to play with mommy and daddy
She can be a very silly girl
She loves to be in the bathtub and hates to get out
She will let you know when she does not like or want something by sealing her mouth shut and turning away
She gets upset when she can not find you or make eye contact
She loves everything banana
She likes penne pasta but without the sauce
She can eat bread all day, I mean all day long
She is a sound sleeper, pretty much nothing wakes her for now :)
She loves her Daddy and feeling Daddy's face and head with her hand
She will look into your eyes and it feels like she is looking into your soul

There isn't anything Mike and I wouldn't do for her and we can't wait for you to meet her!

She is just the most precious little girl!!! Isn't it amazing how fast your time goes by in China???

I remember all too well how awful the heat was there! We were there during monsoon season. One minute it would be pouring down rain and the next minute it was unbearably hot.
