Adoption Santa

During the wait there has always been one constant. Our faith that our daughter has chosen us as her parents and that when the time is right she will join us. Yesterday, I spent the evening with two China moms. One who is days away from seeing her beautiful daughter, Juliette Rose and one who is right behind me awaiting the I171H. I can't tell you how nice it was to spend the evening with these two wonderful women. It was as if we had known each other all our lives.

I can't wait for the play-dates to come rolling in!!!

While visiting we saw the movie Lila Rose. It is a heart-warming story detailing the timeline and journey to China to pick-up Lila. If you ever get a chance to see a movie, this is a must see!!! Don't forget to bring plenty of Kleenex.

We also had a visit from Adoption Santa!!! Our adoption Santa brought bags of goodies. We went thru bags and bags of really cute baby clothes that had been passed on from one mom to another mom. Needless to say, I left with a big bag of goodies:)

For my friends still waiting, network, find support groups in your area, or just create your own.

It makes a world of difference.

And even if you are not religious, have faith that your daughter will find you. I know I do!!!

St. Theresa's Prayer:

May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of strong faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has
been given to you....
May you be content knowing you are a child of God....
Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.
It is there for each and every one of us.
