With over three thousand visits, I had been wondering why there were no comments. I visit a lot of blogs and I don't always leave a comment but when a post touches my heart, makes me laugh, brings a tear to my eye, I leave a comment. I knew that my family and friends were reading the blog becasue they told me so but I never realized their comments were not making the blog. Trixie emailed me the other day wondering why her comments were not showing up on my blog. If she had not made the effort to ask, I would have never known there was a problem.
After two thousand visits, I added the guestbook thinking it would be another option to posting comments. I mistakenly thought that some of you were uncomfortable posting comments. Wow! was I wrong! And I am sure that those of you who have left comments must have thought I was rude or unappreciative of your comments. Urgh!!! Do I feel like a heel! To think I missed out on all the feedback really stinks!!!!!
I thought I had enabled the blog to accept comments after review. I thought wrong!!!! Well, I know its a little too late but with any luck, comments can now be posted. They will still have to go through comment moderation which is me:) but at least I can now receive them. I accidentally put my email address in the wrong caption under settings. For those of you who use blogger you know what I mean. For those of you who don't basically when someone posted on my blog before yesterday, if you were not a contributor or blog member, you posted a comment and it disappeared in cyberspace because there was no email address to send it to.
I am soooooooo sorry): I had no idea. Please accept my apologies.
Feel free to test it out. So far, Trixie was able to post one comment, we'll see how it goes. Hopefully, I fixed it.
A Special thanks to Trixie for letting me know.
