long week!

I don't know if it is the combination of the wait, Mike's Dad's medical issues, the difficult but just have to read referral rumors, sleepless nights, dreams of little Annie, or the fact that today marks nineteen, yes, 19 years with the same employer. I tried to be proactive, writing my represenatative about the expiration of the I171H, tried to read, tried to start my journal (couldn't concentrate), tried to just do something positive to pass the time, but whatever it is, it has been difficult to maintain positive thoughts....

This afternoon we received a box from "Pebbles & BamBam". I scanned the box, looked for evidence of origin but to my dismay, I just couldn't figure out where the box came from. Mike tried, I tried, Mike tried again....

Our friends and family have been quite crafty in their disguises but I think this one beat them all. There is just no proof!!! We looked, and looked, and looked, but could not recognize the handwriting. The note inside was cleverly typed out. We have not been able to figure exactly who our "Secret Pal Family & Friends" are but we like to guess when we receive the boxes. Usually, there is a zip code or post office location to start with, maybe similiarities in handwriting, the type of gift, that provide little clues.

But...

not this time!

Well, "Pebbles & BamBam " were from the stone age.

But enough about that, lets get to the gifts!!!!

Inside the box was a beautiful pink & white lattice baby photo album with a cute little baby bib on the cover. The album can hold one hundred photos. ONE HUNDRED PHOTOS.

Now thats a brag book!

Also inside the box was a beautiful wooden photo frame which can hold a photo up to "6X4". What really makes the frame special were the words engraved on it.

The note enclosed made mention to capturing photos of the little one when she arrives but what "Pebbles & BamBam" didn't realize, is that their gifts captured our hearts. Thank you, whoever you, and wherever you are. We needed this:)
