Sat at McDago's

This past Saturday I visited two of my closest and best friends Tara & Maria. After conquering a migraine and unnecessary traffic (traffic is always unnecessary) I finally made it to Maria's and headed up to Tara's house, AKA "McDago's". Maria and I were determined to see Tara before her bun popped out of the oven! Tara is expecting a little one in October and pregnancy definitely suits her:) She was absolutely glowing and we just couldn't be happier for her! It still continues to amaze me that even after not seeing each other in a long and I mean long time, we can just pick up where we left off as if the time never passed. First stop was lunch, afterall, Tara is feeding two not one. We ate at the Cracker Barrel and then headed to my favorite place...

Normally I use Secret Pals as an excuse to browse the isles, not today!

We spent three hours in there!!!!

We must be truly out of our minds!!!

Tara was looking for a nursery set and well I was just looking. Well not just looking. I took note to all the items Tara likes for future baby shower reference, He! He!, and then Maria, AKA Fairy Godmother,took it a step further. It was like a mini-baby shower:) Maria and I couldn't help it! How could we not pick up a few items...Few is an understatement for Maria who snuck on line and made the most adorable baby purchases. I narrowly escaped the Fairy Godmother this time....

I never had so much fun in that store!!!

The night was topped off with a great dish of lasagna by Chef Tara and a few more hours of chit chat, laughs ala Vinnie, Blitz games (Is the tug of war rope still on the roof of the shed?), coffee, and cookies!

One of my biggest hopes is that our little one will be around the same age as Tara's little one and that they will grow up together, be best friends, and be rewarded with an unbelievable friendship like I have! Love you Tara!! Love you Maria!! AKA Fairy Godmother!!!
