My first observation

Well today I was observed by the Assistant Director for the first time. Remind me not to make any sudden changes in routine on any rainy day, given day whatsoever. Today my Assistant and I switched tasks this morning and of course today we were evaluated. A day when the kids were wacky, wacky, wacky. Needless to say it did not go well. Its funny I had already rehearsed the opening dialogue for the evaluation. You did this and this right and then you did this and this and this and this not so right. Positive feedback first, negative feedback last. As soon as the Assistant director came in, I took one look at her and said " Could we do this tomorrow?" She laughed. The sad fact of the matter is that I meant it! It was exactly as I thought it would be, bad but not real bad, more frustrating then anything. I've always been able to take criticism but at that moment all I could of was two words:

"NOT NICE!!!!!!!"
