Tonight I received an email from my agency to download the pre-placement packet. For months I have been waiting for this email because this is the LAST email before we get our REFERRAL! Yes, I think it is safe to day we are close.
Inside the packet is information on travel planning phases, I-171H/fingerprinting (imagine that!), passport photos, updated homestudies, the importance of both parents traveling to China, and most importantly the Parent Contact Sheet for that long-awaited REFERRAL CALL.
Can you feel it? That referral excitement!
That contact sheet was filled out and emailed lickety split with a little "How close are we?" question added.
Wow! How am I going to sleep?
